THE BRAND

Harris Wharf London is a contemporary brand founded in 2010 by siblings Giulia and Aldo Acchiardi. Giulia leads design while Aldo oversees production and distribution, together reimagining classic formal wear through a modern take on traditional tailoring. Every piece is made in Italy from natural fibres, with a commitment to sustainability that runs through the entire production process.

DETAILS

The Harris Wharf London Grey Boiled Wool Utility Jacket occupies the space between an overshirt, a jacket and a workwear coat, and it does so without apology or explanation. It is a piece that functions across different registers of dressing without belonging definitively to any one of them, which is precisely what makes it useful and interesting in equal measure.

The fabric is a knitted boiled wool, made in Italy from 100% certified no-mulesing virgin wool sourced from South America. Boiled wool is produced through a process of heat and pressure that compacts the fibres into a dense, felted surface with natural wind resistance and insulation, giving the jacket genuine warmth without requiring any lining or padding. The knitted construction gives this version a subtly different character from a woven boiled wool, slightly softer and more draped, sitting closer to a thick knitwear than a conventional outerwear fabric. In middle grey, the colour sits in the most open-ended and seasonally neutral part of the grey palette.

The utility silhouette is clean and direct: a single-breasted four-button fastening that closes fully to the round collar, patch pockets across the front, a straight shape and the raw-edge finish at the collar, cuffs and hem that is becoming a signature Harris Wharf London detail. Unlined throughout, the jacket is lighter and more breathable than its weight suggests. All fabric processing waste is recycled by a specialist partner in Italy. Made in Italy.

  • Fabric: 100% Virgin Wool, certified no-mulesing, knitted boiled wool
  • Construction: Unlined, raw edge finish
  • Closure: Four-button, full button-up to round collar
  • Pockets: Patch pockets
  • Colour: Middle grey
  • Fit: Straight
  • Made in: Italy

WEAR IT WITH

Over a Harley of Scotland lambswool crewneck in a contrasting colour with dark or washed blue jeans and a pair of Paraboot Michael loafers in brown grain leather, the utility jacket sits as the outer layer of a completely considered and textured winter outfit. With relaxed corduroy trousers and a plain T-shirt or overshirt beneath it, the boiled wool and the cord sit together in a natural, tactile combination that needs nothing added. The middle grey works alongside navy, brown, olive, camel and dark denim without requiring any coordination, making it the most open-ended outerwear colour in the Harris Wharf range.

Pick up in store

We offer pick up in store, Once your order is ready to collect, you will receive an email notification. Orders are prepared during our store opening hours, Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 18:00 (CET).

Please bring your order confirmation when collecting your order.

Orders must be collected within 14 days from the time you receive the pickup notification. If the order has not been collected within this period, and we have not heard from you regarding an extension, the order will be cancelled and refunded.

If you need more time to collect your order, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

Please note that orders placed online and collected in store are still considered distance purchases, meaning the standard 14-day return policy applies.

The 14-day return period starts from the day you (or someone on your behalf) collects the order.

Returns

Return of online purchases We offer 14 days of return and refund as per European Law on all online orders, including sale items and items bought from our Odd Stock. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, including the original packaging.

The 14-day return period starts from the day you receive your order (or collect it in store for Click & Collect orders).

You may handle and try on items as you would in a physical store. However, you may be liable for any diminished value if the item has been used or handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Return of in-store purchases Sale items purchased in-store are not refundable. We only accept a return/refund on regular-priced items. We do not accept items that are intimate goods or fragrances. The exception are intimate goods or fragrances that are not tried on, and their package returned unopened.

For hygiene reasons, sealed items (such as intimate goods and fragrances) can only be returned if the seal is unbroken and the packaging is unopened.

How to return

To register your return, please visit our return portal and follow the instructions. You will need your order number and email address. Once your return is registered, we will provide you with a return shipping label.

As a customer, you do not need a commercial invoice, as we provide it digitally to the shipping company. Please note that we do not accept returns sent without our provided return label. All returns must be shipped using the return label issued by us — returns sent independently, without our label, will not be accepted or refunded.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Orders within the European Union are shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), meaning that taxes and duties are included in the final price. For countries outside of the EU we ship DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid). That means you might be liable to pay tax and duty upon receiving your package. If applicable, you will be responsible for paying these costs before your item can be delivered.

Return costs Please note that the cost of the return label will be deducted from the total refund amount, see prices below:

  • Sweden: 100 SEK for DHL or PostNord
  • Norway: 150 SEK for PostNord or FedEx
  • Europe: 200 SEK for FedEx or DHL
  • UK: 200 SEK for FedEx
  • North America: 400 SEK for FedEx
  • Asia and the Middle East: 500 SEK for FedEx
  • Rest of the World: 600 SEK for FedEx

These return-label fees reflect the cost of return shipping and will be deducted from the refund for online returns made under the right of withdrawal (change of mind).

Refunds Once your return is received, inspected and approved, your refund will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. There is often some bank processing time before a refund is shown in your account.

Refunds for online orders include the item price and the original outbound standard shipping cost (if paid). If you selected a premium shipping option (e.g., express), only the cost of the standard shipping option will be refunded.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods.

Refunds will be processed no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to return, provided the returned goods (or proof of return) have been received.
