A Local’s Guide To Tokyo

The capital of Japan is very easy to love but the hidden gems can be hard to find. We sent our colleague Armin to meet with selected partners and friends to reveal their regular hot spots. Part one is a local’s guide to Tokyo.

Ring Jacket Aoyama

Mr. Tomohiro Takahashi is a store manager of Ring Jacket Meister 206 Aoyama. Exclusively for Lund & Lund Takahashi-San shares his personal favourites for our Local’s guide to Tokyo.

Favourite Restaurant

Don Ciccio is a place to be. Run by a seasoned Italian chef, who spent years working in Palermo, Sicily and Florence., this is an authentic Sicilian food served in a nice warm restaurant. You can even hear the enthusiastic shouts of the staff from the kitchen, so you can spend time in a fun and lively atmosphere!

Favourite Bar

In Tokyo Ginza there’s Tender, where you’ll go for the best cocktails, made by its legendary bartender, Mr. Kazuo Uyeda. Simple and chic interior, just the way I like it.

Favourite Tailor

Noriyuki Ueki of Sartoria Ciccio, intially worked at Ring Jacket. He then developed his skills further from the Neapolitan maestro Antonio Pascariello, adding to his Japanese vision of how garments should fit. Ueki-San put his heart into his craft, and you can feel it.

Globe Specs is the ultimate eyewear store in Tokyo. Their CEO's idea is that "glasses are an important element of fashion". I could not agree more!

Favourite Art Gallery

Some say teamLab is a crowded tourist trap, but I beg to differ. It's an interactive and immersive digital art gallery, and will actively engage you with its colors, lights and shapes. Allow couple of hours.
